What People Are Saying
Stephen Levine Pam has been a lifesaver for our family! We live in NYC, my wife’s aunt in Colorado. Pam has provided excellent guidance with an abundance of patience as we transitioned her aunt to assisted living, and later to memory care. Pam has gone above and beyond to provide my aunt continued support. I do not know what we would do without her knowledge and kindness. Zeina Toure I used Stacy's Helping Hand for a client of mine (85-yo female with dementia) who needed a new level of care. I reached out to Stacy's Helping Hand and spoke with Pam, and I am so glad to have come across this valuable service. In our first conversation, Pam Silverberg was immediately understanding of the situation my client was in and showed genuine compassion and a desire to provide support. She met my client in-person (w/ daughter on phone) and engaged my client in a full assessment through a very pleasant and natural conversation. Pam is extremely knowledgeable about facilities and provided three viable facility options within a few days. It was clear during the tours that Pam is well-respected by the staff/owners at the different facilities. All three options she found would have been suitable for my client, but one of them was an exceptionally good fit. I moved her in shortly after, and Pam checked in frequently to see if I could use any additional assistance. The ALF we selected has been wonderful. I was very pleased with the whole process and would highly recommend using Stacy's Helping Hand for assistance with locating a facility for a loved one. Thank you, Pam!! Barbara Kane After recovering surgery, I was unable to personally tour Assisted Living facilities and I was given a referral to Pam Silverberg owner of Stacy's Helping Hand. Pam was very helpful with information on several facilities to tour and took my niece who was visiting from out of town to see them. She went over the pros and cons of each wth us and we were able to make a decision quickly. She also facilitated getting some paperwork to the AL facility, which needed to be done quickly before I could move in. It was a stressful time for me and she made it less stressful. Lori H A year after my brother died, my sister-in-law’s mobility issues worsened and it became unsafe for her to stay in her two-story townhome. She has health challenges and doesn’t drive, but is still largely independent and did not want to move. As I started looking for a suitable place that she may agree to, the number of locations, levels of care, price ranges, etc., was overwhelming. While looking through the Seniors Blue Book, I ran across the listing for Stacys Helping Hand. From my first telephone conversation with Pam, my stress decreased. She took the time to listen to my questions and concerns. She met me at my sister-in-law’s home to get to know her in person and learn about her perspective on moving, her needs, and her budget. Pam is kind and caring, and asked us questions in addition to answering ours. Pam’s familiarity with so many communities was so helpful. After our meeting, she developed a short list of places to tour. She took the time to visit the places again before taking us there to be sure her prior impressions were still accurate, and also to see the communities specifically with my sister-in-law in mind. Pam picked us up at my sister-in-law’s townhome. After each tour, we discussed what we did and didn’t like about each place. Ultimately my sister-in-law selected an independent community. When it came time to move, Pam recommended a moving company who was experience with this type of downsizing move, as well as a Realtor who handled prepping the townhouse and selling it. The realtor even arranged for the closing to be done at the new apartment because I was out of town the day of closing. Pam has followed up several times since the move, both with my sister-in-law and with me. We both felt very supported by Pam throughout the entire process, knowing she was always just a phone call or text away. If the time comes or my sister-in-law to look move from independent living to a community with an increased level of care, I will absolutely call Stacys Helping Hand again for assistance. Robert Nardozza Thank you, Pam at Stacy's Helping Hand! Moving a loved one into assisted living or memory care can be a daunting task. Pam you took the time to meet us both and talk with us to help guide me in the right direction. I cannot believe how knowledgeable you were about all the facilities and you helped me pick out the perfect place that best suited my friend. I am so grateful for all you did for us! I just cannot thank you enough Pam!!!!! Sheryl Jones When my mother recently lost her husband and was left all alone in another state, she wanted to move near us as quickly as possible. We were looking for a senior living facility near our home but were overwhelmed with all the details of her move. I called Sharon & Paul Leasure and they immediately went to work looking for the right living arrangement that would fill all our needs. Within 2 days they had located the perfect senior home for my mother! It is such a clean, classy fun spot filled with many other friendly seniors and the price was so amazingly affordable! And there are options for assisted care should she ever need that in the future. We cannot say enough how much Paul & Sharon's research, guidance and attention to detail has meant to us! They had everything arranged to make the whole process go quickly and smoothly. We are so very grateful for their expertise and the quick response that Sharon and Paul provided for us when we were feeling so overwhelmed with moving my mother! Dolf Kahle Sharon helped us place my mother-in-law in a facility that she is very happy with. Sharon was patient and caring and kind throughout the entire process. When we began the process mom was pretty sure that she was NOT interested. But over time she came to appreciate that the time and place was right, and Sharon played an essential role in overcoming that hesitation. Thanks Sharon! Todd Marino I wanted to give Pam Silverberg a big warm hearted thank you! My mother has moved from Wisconsin to Denver Colorado to be closer to us in her senior years. Before we started on this journey, I was in need of some planning assistance to get her here. My wife and I have a friend that recommended Pam to help us. She gave us her business card and I decided to give Pam a call. Pam's gentle demeanor and style on how she talks to people was a huge selling point for me. Pam setup a Zoom meeting with the three of us so she could get to know my Mom, and to gain some insight for what my Mom was looking for in a senior living community. After our Zoom call, my mother's anxiety about moving here started to fade away, and she was actually getting excited to move here! Pam showed me three senior living communities that were very close to us. One of which was walkable from our house. We decided on the place that's walkable from our house. Not only that, everything around my mom's new apartment is walkable as well. Restaurants, a movie theatre, Trader Joe's, just to name a few. Pam was always available to talk when I would have questions, and she really helped me with this transition. These transitions can be very emotional for everyone. Especially for me as I'm an only child. All I want is the best for my mom and for her to be happy. Pam helped me make that happen. I can't thank you enough, Pam. All the best, -Todd Nick B Pam at Stacy's Helping Hand is a godsend. Stacy's Helping Hand helped me through the complex navigation of retirement community living for my Dad, who was in early stages of ALZ. She knows the communities very well, and has very helpful, neutral and unbiased perspective in terms of your family's/loved one's situation. The personal care, selflessness, responsiveness, communication.....there is really nothing to criticize or complain about. I am so lucky and thankful to have found Pam at Stacy's Helping Hand. Without her, this difficult time in my life would prove seemingly impossible. Thank you Pam, you have provided me with a new perspective on life, and helped my family find some peace and comfort in difficult times. Julie SeroteGibson Sharon and Paul Leisure with Stacys Helping Hand were so valuable in our search for my folks' senior living options. Being new to Colorado, they introduced us to some great places that were a good fit with my parents' needs. They listened well, advocated on their behalf, and were overall just really quality, professionals. I'd highly recommend them for anyone seeking senior living options.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
